Welcome to Innisfree, originally established in 2003 and now under new management in 2024. Innisfree Farm remains a family owned and operated facility for horse boarding, horse-themed birthday parties, and English riding lessons. Come and enjoy our 12 x 12 stalls, temperature controlled tack room, and our indoor and outdoor arenas.
We are Laura and Leila Johnson, a mother-and-daughter duo. Laura has been actively involved with horses for over 23 years, including ownership, Girl Scout camps, showing (hunt seat/hunter jumper), and barn management. Laura has a degree in life science/pre-veterinary medicine. Leila is an animal lover at heart and has over 4 years of experience with pet-sitting barns. Both Laura and Leila work at veterinary offices, compete with their Border Collies in agility, barn hunt, disc dog, lure coursing, fast cat, and train service dogs. We are a small but mighty team, and your animals are our priority.

What should I wear for a horse riding lesson?
Please wear clothes you are comfortable in that can get dirty. Boots with a slight heel are highly recommended.
How long is each riding lesson, and what does it include?
Each private lesson is 1 hour and includes grooming, tacking, riding, and untacking the horse. Students will have the opportunity to learn horse care, husbandry, and proper management of tack and gear.
Are helmets and safety gear provided?
We have a range of helmets available for our students, however you can bring your own. Boots are not provided.
How do I book a riding lesson?

Do you offer trail riding?
We do not offer trail riding or group riding experiences. There are, however, local parks with trails for those who own there own horses.
Can I park my trailer here?
We have limited parking for small trailers for our active boarding horses.
What do birthday parties include?
Our outdoor parties include a 1 hour pony ride, use of picnic tables, photo opportunities, and hands-on horse interactions.
When can I schedule a birthday party?
Parties are weather-dependent and can be freely rescheduled. Our facility is mostly outdoors, but we can move tables into the barn or indoor arena if requested.
